AGC Chemicals Europe has developed fluorinated adhesive resins that apply to composite materials such as carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) to optimise the material’s capability with the added benefits of our polymer solutions. Increased impact strength and low water absorbency increases composite efficiency within maritime-based applications, while the fluoropolymer’s adhesiveness allows it to fuse with most metals including copper, titanium, and steel; advantageous for kinetic applications such as vehicles and engines.
