Fluon+™ AR High Performance Flexible Fluoropolymers
Fluon+™ AR is a range of melt-processable compounds that provides the desirable properties of a fluoropolymer with greatly enhanced flexibility. Cables that require a thicker jacket construction, such as high voltage subsea cables, can be made much more flexible for ease of handling.
The Fluon+™ AR grades are capable of continuous operation at 200°C, and their properties can be enhanced by radiation crosslinking. They can also be coloured for branding and identification by incorporating Fluon+™ Colour Concentrates.

More Fluon+™ Melt Processable Compounds
Fluon+™ Melt Processable Compounds extend fluoropolymer properties of chemical resistance, toughness, and lubricity. They are based on copolymer resins including ETFE and PFA, with the standard products free of cadmium, hexavalent chromium, and lead. All Fluon+™ melt processable compound products are manufactured to precise specifications.
Colour concentrates
Superb surface finish, colour consistency and dispersion even at high-speed extrusion rates.
Reinforced compounds
Incorporate glass and mineral fillers for enhanced characteristics like dimensional stability, abrasion resistance, shrinkage resistance, and thermal conductivity.
Foam concentrates
Designed for gas injection foaming when manufacturing LAN and coaxial cables. The properties of a foamed insulation help minimise signal loss and enhance high-speed data transmission, while reducing weight and material.
Cross-linkable compounds
Increase mechanical properties such as scrape abrasion, cut-through resistance, and tensile strength at elevated temperatures.
Conductive / anti-static compounds
Effectively control heat and static electricity. Wire coated with a conductive fluoropolymer, these compounds can be used for freeze protection and process temperature control.
Adhesive-grade compounds
Modified ETFE used in applications requiring strong adhesion to polyamide polymers, especially Nylon 12. These compounds also exhibit high permeation resistance to many fluids and gases, especially automotive fuels.
